Australian government grants money for Blockchain Study

The Australian government has apportioned AU $700,000 ($521,000) for the exploration of blockchain applications under the Digital Transformation Agency. The budget document read, “The Government will provide $0.7 million to investigate areas where blockchain technology could offer the most value for government services.” In 2017, AU $8 million was sanctioned for blockchain based projects.
