US DHS to offer $800,000 for Anti-Forgery Blockchain Solutions

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is to support the development of anti-counterfeiting solutions by granting up to $800,000. The agency is focusing on the prevention of fake documentation with the integration of the blockchain under the initiative called ‘Preventing Forgery and Counterfeiting of Certificates and Licenses.’ The blockchain companies would have to present proposals for the grant.
