Blockchain Startup Pleads Guilty Over Securities Fraud

A top executive of a blockchain-powered startup has reportedly pleaded guilty to securities fraud involving $42.5 million. As the result, the New York Attorney General, Letitia James has ordered the 44 years old CEO, Eran Eyal to step down his position in the company and surrendered in a total of $450,000 of Shopin related cryptocurrency was ordered to pay $600,000 to the Springleap investors.
