Kenya: Blockchain Startup Raises $250K

A blockchain start-up based in Kenya, FarmShine has shared that it has successfully raised $250,000 in developing its platform. A portfolio manager at coLABS, Jennifer Soltis explained the reason of the investment to the Kenyan-based agriculture technology and blockchain company, “Farmshine’s app records quantity, quality and timeliness of each harvest sold, as well as loan repayments, training received, and other indications of a successful, reliable farmer.”
