The South Korean authorities are investigating an alleged cryptocurrency scam, Shinil Group that promised investors with the sunken Russian shipwreck believed to be loaded with gold worth $130 million. Shinil Group has promised to reimburse the gold from the ship by encouraging the investors to buy the company’s own cryptocurrency and have attracted approximately $53.7 million.
