Almost 0.06% of Global CO2 Emission linked To Bitcoin

The International Energy Agency (IEA) has made its recent report public has unmasked that Bitcoin (BTC) mining is likely responsible for Megatonne (Mt) of carbon dioxide (CO2) per year or 0.03-0.06% of global energy-related carbon dioxide emissions. It has also shed light on possible location of Bitcoin mining hubs should be in places rich in cheap, renewable energy.
