The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) want to receive feedback from the public over a cryptocurrency derivate contract. It demands inputs on how the CFDs for cryptocurrencies would meet Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MFID) regulatory framework. The ESMA discoursed about the 5:1 and 2:1 or 1:1 leverage limits in controlling the CFDs in cryptocurrencies.
