Hong Kong to cover crypto funds under securities regulations

The Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has announced it would cover crypto funds under the securities regulations. The regulatory body has revealed that the investment beyond 10% of the gross portfolios into virtual assets should be licensed and authenticated with the agency. The footnote clarified that the ‘virtual assets’ include digital tokens and other virtual commodities.
