The Leominster Public Schools experienced a cyber-attack during the beginning of April. The school paid cryptocurrencies to regain the computer systems that were attacked in the locality. The Police Chief Michael Goldman emphasized the possibilities that ‘either lose the data of rebuilding the IT infrastructure from scratch.’ It is reported that $10,000 worth bitcoins were paid.
