The Council of Ministers in Poland had developed and adopted a draft law for regulating bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to prevent anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financial legislation. As part of the AML regulations, the bitcoin trading platforms will have to ‘carry out due diligence on customers and report suspicious transactions.’ The legislation is expected to come into force in the next three months.
