The Project i2i is headed by the Union Bank of the Philippines. The project is aimed at connecting rural banks with the country’s financial networks via a blockchain integrated retail payment platform. The platform would be using Kaleido Blockchain Platform established by ConsenSys. For now, seven banks would be involved.
