Supreme Court of Russia Orders Prosecutor Office to Pay over $2K

The Russia Supreme Court has ordered a prosecutor’s office to pay $2,000 fine to Nikolay Tonkoshkurov for blocking a cryptocurrency news site. The lawyers of Digital Rights, Sarkis Darbinyan and Kate Abashina commented regarding the case, “Now, the prosecutors will think twice before filing half-baked or evidence-free lawsuits that damage internet businesses and their clients.”
