Poloniex has recently added new six trading pairs for Circle’s stablecoin USDC. Poloniex explained that the new listing aims to offer various cryptocurrencies. The cryptocurrency exchange posted in their official Twitter account that, XRP/USDC, XMR/USDC, STR/USDC, DOGE/USDC, LTC/USDC, and ZEC/USDC are now available on its platform. The user would not be charged any trading fee until 30th November.
Circle has stepped-up its strategy in attracting more customers by launching a new reward program on its Circle Invest Platform. Circle will be rewarding new customers until the end of the year. Circle declared the aim of the program is to attract people to join the platform and bridge the gap between market players and the cryptocurrency space.
The Coinbase, Circle and ConsenSys have joined the Global Digital Finance (GDF) to come up with a global crypto ‘Code of Conduct.’ The Code of Conduct will cover, Overarching Principles, Principles for Token Sales and the Principles for Token Platforms. The co-founder of GDF stated, “Regulators have been hugely supportive of the development of GDF and the Code.”
The crypto investment application, Circle has declared the addition of a new feature called “Collections” which consists of Platforms, Payments, and Privacy. The company expressed in a blog post, “We are building upon this theme through the launch of 3 additional collections- Platforms, Payments and Privacy.” It enables the users’ purchase assets in any category in one tap.
The Circle has revealed that six new organizations have extended their support to the USD Coin, a stablecoin. As quoted by Circle, the organizations include Hanbitco, an EOS exchange, and Everbloom, decentralized exchange that has welcomed USDC. As per the company, the support received by the USDC could result in the formation of ‘an open standards model.’
The Circle Internet Financial Ltd. would acquire SeedInvest. The Circle revealed that a definitive agreement is signed with the SeedInvest. Circle aims to support the issuance of digital tokens by the startups. The company expressed, “This acquisition and planned new offerings are subject to FINRA approval.” The acquisition would also support companies raise capital on regulated platforms.
The Circle cryptocurrency exchange has recruited the Former Homeland Security general counsel Gus Coldebella as the chief legal officer of the exchange. Coldebella has been serving the office of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and is currently the acting general counsel. He has experience in private legal practice, litigation counseling, and others.
