Trend Micro has recently found a Bitcoin (BTC) automated teller machine (ATM) malware available for purchase online. The Tokyo-based security manufacturer reveals the malware is available in the darknet forum with the starting price of $25,000. Trend Micro then added that the seller of the malware has been receiving over 100 online reviews that indicate the seller is not a scam.
DG Cash has declared the launch of two-way crypto ATM machines in Sofia’s shopping centers. The cryptos supported in the ATM would include Bitcoin and Litecoin. The ATM would also enable the users’ purchase cryptos such as Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin with cash. The DG Cash has recorded 2.45 million Euros in trading volume since the end of 2017.
Collaboration made between a UK digital currency firm and Herman Vapes, Alphavend has successfully brought a Bitcoin ATM to Liverpool. The spokesperson from Herman Vapes said, “We are really excited to be the location chosen by Alphavend for the first ever Bitcoin ATM in Liverpool, and we are sure it will attract plenty of interest.”
A cryptocurrency ATM is to be launched in Johannesburg, South Africa. The ATM would be supporting cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dash, and others. It is reported that South Africa already installed a Bitcoin ATM in Midrand during 2014. The incomes generated from cryptocurrency trade are taxable though South African Revenue Service does not regulate.
