The fast-food chain, Church’s Chicken located across Venezuela has announced that they will now accept the Dash cryptocurrency as payment across all 10 outlets in Venezuela. The eateries GM Orlando Gustavo Navas commented, “This integration was the result of our trust in Dash and its role as a growth agent in this new financial world – a system which can be successful in any market across any number of different industries.”
A new developer program has been launched by Dash foundation named the Global Developer Program to support the Consume blockchain Applications via the DAO funded #BuildwithDash Campaign. The co-ordinator for the DAO backed Developer Initiative, Gaurav Gupta explained, “Developers are key to building a decentralised future and this initiative aims to bring them together on the Dash platform.”
A DASH supporting crypto wallet, MyDashWallet admitted that it has been compromised for the past two months. Its marketing manager Michael Seitz clarified, “The hacker was able to obtain private keys used between May 13th and July 12th. Out of an abundance of caution, anyone using mydashwallet.org in that timeframe should assume their private keys are known by the hacker and should immediately move any balances out of that wallet.”
