Coinbase has declared the addition of Ethereum Classic (ETC) to its platform. The company is yet to announce on the launch date. It is reported that the Ethereum Classic is to be added to the Coinbase Index Fund as well. The announcement made by the exchange impacted the price of the crypto (ETC), pushing it upwards.
Genesis Global Trading has been granted the BitLicense by the Department of Financial Services, New York. The company is the fifth firm to have received the license overall. The company would be trading Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, Litecoin, and Zcash. Circle, XRP II, Coinbase, and bitFlyer have already obtained the license.
eToro has affirmed the launch of the crypto offer in the U.S. The offering is reported to support ten cryptocurrencies during the start and add further cryptos later this year. The users are allowed to pre-register. The cryptos that are supported include; Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, XRP, Dash, Bitcoin Cash, Stellar, Ethereum Classic, and others.

A cryptocurrency index has been unveiled by Bloomberg working along with Galaxy Digital Capital Management, a digital assets merchant bank. The Bloomberg Galaxy Crypto Index would be tracking the cryptos such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Monero, XRP, zcash, EOS, Litecoin, and Dash. The index is to be owned and managed by Bloomberg Index Services.
Circle, the blockchain startup, has announced the addition of Monero to its Invest application. The application already offers Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, and Litecoin. The application takes zero commissions. The product manager of Invest emphasized, “You can invest instantly and seamlessly in the widest breadth of coins by using your bank account.”

Due to the popular demand, the UK’s only dedicated multi-cryptocurrency exchange, London Block Exchange (LBX) have listed Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Ethereum Classic (ETC) in its platform. The CEO and founder of Abra, Bill Barhydt emphasized that their aim is to enable users ‘freely invest in cryptocurrencies at any time.’
The Ethereum Foundation has 13 projects lined up to develop scalability, security, development experiences, user interface, and other features of Ethereum blockchain. The Foundation has made more than $2.5 million and it hopes to bridge the missing pieces in the blockchain ecosystem.
