A trading platform based in Tel Aviv have shared their plan to purchase a blockchain company, Firmo and shared that they have successfully purchased a Copenhagen-based company. The purchase was made by eToro for its stellar research and development team. This indicates that eToro is aggressively expanding its business although they have refused to comment further about it.
The Israel-based retail trading firm eToro announced the launch of its US operations in 31 states. It offers trading in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple and Stellar. They’re also planning to introduce multi-asset trading in the coming months called as eToroX, probably launched in second quarter of this year.
A cryptocurrency start-up based in Israel has revealed possible partnership could be established between eToro and Ripple. The CEO of eToro, Yoni Assia then commented, “I think as a fintech company it’s very important for us to foster relationships with other fintech companies. Obviously, as we’re one of the largest trading platforms on Ripple.”
The social trading platform, eToro has announced that it has become the first investment platform to support Binance Coin (BNB). The CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao commented, “We are honored and excited to be listed on eToro. With this addition, the Binance coin can reach millions of more people, many of whom are more accustomed to the traditional financial industry.”
A partnership has been recently signed between eToro and the Premier League football clubs in the U.K. The Newcastle United has confirmed its newly-established partnership with eToro and explained, “As part of the new partnership, the company will gain global exposure through an extensive range of marketing opportunities including matchday LED boards, player access, tickets and digital rights.”
The eToro trading network had added IOTA to its platform. The other digital assets supported by the platform include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, XRP, Litecoin, Ethereum Classic, Dash, Stellar, EOS, ADA, and NEO. The cryptocurrency is to be added to its Crypto CopyFund. The co-founder and CEO of eToro stated, “IOTA aims to be the ‘ledger of everything.’
Business Insider revealed eToro’s is launching a cryptocurrency trading desk in London. The news has been confirmed by the CEO of eToro, Yoni Assia that, “We’ve announced that we’re launching the exchange as well so, between the exchange and the OTC desk, we’re also starting to serve more potential institutions and financial institutions.”
