BitPay recently announced that it is introducing the new identification process as a significant part of BitPay Dashboard, which is high-value payment of 3,000 dollars or more to a BitPay trader, to demand a refund of 1,000 dollars or more. The BitPay Dashboard gives clients access to transaction history and a customized home page for their blockchain payments and future BitPay payment features.

An announcement has been made that Trusted Key, a blockchain ID management firm based in Washington, Seattle that they have been acquired by Workday. The SVP of Workday, Jon Ruggiero positive with the potential of blockchain technology and explained that it is an “ a new form of digital credential – one that puts individuals in control of their data, and is portable, authentic, and secure”.

ICONLOOP Unveils DPASS

One of the largest blockchain firms in South Korea, ICONLOOP has shared in an announcement that they have successfully launched a blockchain-powered self-sovereign identity authentication service, DPASS. The CEO of ICONLOOP, Jonghyup Kim explained, “Users will be able to see how revolutionarily easy it would be when DPASS is aligned with various services and users can log in with one blockchain ID on those services.”

Seraph ID Launched By Swisscom Blockchain on NEO

The Swisscom Blockchain has recently launched a self-sovereign identity (SSI) solution developed on the NEO blockchain called Seraph ID. Seraph ID will provide a decentralized identity system in the NEO ecosystem with the aim to place all the user data in full control of their data and enable dApps to verify specific data. TypeScript SDK and smart contract templates have also been released to help NEO dapp developers.
