Stellar Lumens (XLM) Listed in Coinbase Pro

Another cryptocurrency has been listed in Coinbase Pro announced by the platform in a blog post. Coinbase has confirmed, “Once sufficient supply of XLM is established on the platform, trading on the XLM/USD, XLM/EUR, and XLM/BTC order books will start in phases, beginning with post-only mode and proceeding to full trading should our metrics for a healthy market be met.”

The BitGo, a multi-signature wallet and crypto solution provider, has declared its support to the Stellar Lumens (XLM). The wallet now supports 115 cryptocurrencies including the recently added Stellar Lumens. The CTO of BitGo stated, “We’re continuously adding support for digital currencies that our clients express interest in, and lumens are a natural next addition.”

Edge, recognized as ‘Airbitz’ has released a new update to its Edge Wallet. The company also disclosed support for Stellar Lumens (XLM) and Changelly. The new version of the wallet also extends language support for Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. The uses would be able to purchase XRP tokens and access cryptos including Bitcoin, Dash, and Qtum.

The chief executive officer of BitGo, Mike Belshe has confirmed that its platform now supports two new coins called Dash (DASH), and Stellar Lumens (XLM). The CEO of Bitgo emphasized that the company is fully dedicated to protecting custodian services and said, “Exchanges sometimes offer custodianship, but they’re not qualified custodians themselves. They’re holding funds so that you’ll use their exchange.”

The BitGo wallet service provider has added Dash and Stellar to its platform. The Dash has also declared the association with BitGo through its Twitter handle. The BitGo wallet already extends support to 85+ digital assets and cryptocurrencies. The wallet also provides ‘multi-signature wallet’ that is recognized as an institutional-grade security wallet.

The rumors regarding the collaboration between Facebook and Stellar Lumens (XML) have been denied by Facebook. The denial made has been posted in Cheddar where the spokesperson of Facebook explained, “We are not engaged in any discussions with Stellar, and we are not considering building on their technology.” However, there is no comment made by the Steller Lumens.

Stellar becomes ‘Sharia compliant’ on CBB’s approval

The Bahrain Central Bank (CBB) has fixed the Stellar.org project as Sharia compliant. A spokesperson from Stellar mentioned, “The Shariyah Review Bureau (SRB), a leading international Sharia advisory agency licensed by the Central bank of Bahrain, has reviewed the properties and applications of Stellar.” Reportedly, the Sharia compliance certification also extends to lumens (XLM).

The Stellar Network declared that the Lumen XLM token is listed on KuCoin exchange platform. Lumen XLM is the native coin of Stellar blockchain with 18.5 billion tokens in circulation. The trading pairs such as Bitcoin and Ethereum against the Stellar Lumen (XLM) are made available for trade. It is reported that Stellar promotes spontaneous payments between parties.

Coinbase explores five cryptos other than XRP

The Coinbase crypto exchange has claimed that they are exploring the addition of five cryptocurrencies to its platform. Those include Cardano (ADA), Stellar Lumens (XLM), Zcash (ZEC) and 0x (ZRX). However, it is reported that the XRP tokens are ignored by Coinbase. The users expected the addition of XRP since the crypto was ‘experiencing a meteoric rise.’

The New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) has sanctioned the Paxos Trust Company to begin its OTC trading. The company is permitted to use Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and Stellar Lumens for the OTC trade supported by itBit digital asset exchange. However, it is reported that the exchange would offer eight licensed cryptos.
