The Tezos Foundation is to introduce educational and training programs by associating with B9Lab. Reportedly, a free introductory Tezos 101 and a developer course are to be unveiled during 2019. A blog post quoted, “The Tezos Foundation will also sponsor 250 talented developers to participate in a Tezos Blockstars program to be coordinated by B9 Labs.”
An announcement has been made by Kraken regarding their plan to add Tezos (XTZ) to the cryptocurrency exchange platform. The users of their platform will be able to trade XTZ from October 16th on both Kraken.com and trade.kraken.com. The cryptocurrency exchange also revealed that they would present margin trading soon as it is currently unavailable at the launch for XTZ.
The co-founder of Tezos, (XTZ) Kathleen Breitman is optimistic about the potential of online games in encouraging people to adopt cryptocurrency. The implementation of smart contracts and emerging numbers of decentralized apps could increase the cryptocurrency adoption among the gamers as the industry have a lot of unexplored potentials and the cryptocurrency market would boost its development.
BitPrime, a crypto retailer, has added Tezos (XTZ), Komodo (KMD), IOST (IOST), NavCoin (NAV) and Enigma (ENG). The founding partner, Ross Carter-Brown stressed the necessity to recognize the crypto and blockchain innovation and added, “BitPrime is dedicated to making sure that cutting-edge cryptocurrencies are available in New Zealand.” The cryptos are bought against the NZD.
The Tezos Foundation declared that the PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Switzerland would act as the external auditor for its finances and operations. For the first time, a blockchain company has been considered as an audit client. The Foundation mentioned that this would impact the trust of the Tezos community and the observers on its operations and finances.
The beta network of the Tezos Foundation has been unveiled. The betanet is unveiled with an expectation to unveil a broader main network. The company also warned users of the betanet to protect their ‘tezzies’ tokens (XTZ) which cannot be recovered when lost. It also managed to raise $232 million through its ICO in the previous year.
The Tezos, decentralized application and smart contract platform, has confirmed the “final preparations for the Tezos beta network are underway.” It is also reported that the further announcements in this regard would be put up by the company on its website. The company also confirmed the proposal of a genesis block at the betanet launch.
