The Australian tax professionals affirmed that the Australian Taxation Office is cracking down on investors. The authority stressed the crypto investors to meet their tax liabilities. Liz Russell, a senior tax agent at Etax.com.au, stated that the authority would be “doubling down its data-matching technology to ensure that Australians are paying taxes owed through crypto trading.”
