A special consortium has been formed in Kenya to research on the application of blockchain technology. The team is to be headed by chairman named Bitange Ndemo and would report to the Information Minister, Joseph Mucheru. Kenya also believes that the blockchain could aid in storing land records lessening the burden of the public.
