The founder of Wikipedia, Jimmy Wales addressed at the blockchain event which happened in Berlin. Wales expressed, “We are absolutely never going to do that. Zero interest.†According to him, blockchain is a ‘bubble with a lot of mania and hype around it.’ Wales clarified that Wikipedia would not launch an ICO or issue its own cryptocurrency.
